Wow February has just flown by at BestSart Powells Rd Kindy! We’ve said goodbye to summer and hello to autumn! We are looking forward to the crunchy leaves changing colour and some cooler days along the way! 

We have had an eventful month to say the least! First and foremost a huge thank you to our whānau at The Home of The Brave who have been amazing and so understanding during this everchanging time, we know it hasn’t been easy but we’re making it through. 

It was touched on briefly in last month’s blog but in the month of February we got our new playground! We are so grateful to our whānau who came out to help us put it together, without you we may still be working on it!  Over the last month it has been put to the test, through it’s trials and tribulations and the consensus is… a HUGE THUMBS UP from our tamariki and whānau at The Home of The Brave! 

We are so lucky to have this new playground. It has all sorts of things, slides, a ramp, a jungle gym and plenty of things to climb on! We have noticed that for some of our younger tamariki it has been a great way to help challenge them and encourage perseverance (especially the jungle gym).
