A visit from the cement truck
This big cement truck captured the children's attention as it parked up right outside our playground. "Truck truck!" they ran over to the fence to get a closer look. The mixer was turning around and the children watched carefully as the man got out and checked the load. He went away and when he returned, the children were still there, waving at him. He waved back and got in the truck, and when the truck released the brakes it made a big noise!
"Bye!" everyone said to the man.
It was an interesting discovery for everyone and i'm sure as the construction continues we will keep seeing more big trucks coming and going. This interest has extended into the children's play where they have been acting out being the cement truck driver in the sandpit and when building roads in the construction area. I wonder what truck will visit tomorrow?
