One of the things we pride ourselves at BestStart Girven Rd is our centre celebrations where we celebrate our centre whanau as well as supporting our community. We held our Plunket week from the 15th to the 19th of March this year. We held a teddy bears picnic, and we had a visit from the Plunket's Blue Bear on our Blue Day. We fundraised by holding an art sale and the annual slime the teacher. This year the person who was  slimed was our amazing administrator Annika. She is the first friendly face that you see when you come into our centre. 

Earlier this year held our first Carnival celebrating and recognising the culture of some of our tamariki. With the help and support of the families, we planned a fun day filled with dancing, music with instruments the tamariki made, noise, colour and lots and lots of fun.
