Around the World
In our Prep Room here at BestStart Buchanans Road we have been focussing on 'Around the World' as we have such a diverse range of cultures within our centre. As a part of this we have wanted to engage with and invite in our families to share part of their culture with us. We have had such an amazing response to this with families coming in and sharing their culture through food, dress, dance, stories and language. The strong relationships we have with our families make these types of experiences possible. One of our parents who came along and shared about their culture has commented to us about how much their child has learned about other countries in the world and how they are so enjoying the learning and talking about it at home. We will be filling our centre "passports" in no time as we travel around the world right here in the BestStart Buchanans Road Prep Room!
