At BestStart Palmerston North Babies, we’ve been doing lots of art and crafty learning experiences. Our main focus has been to allow opportunities across all the ages within our room to explore their sense of creativity by using a range of different resources, such as finger painting, exploring gloop and collage. This has been a great way to promote group experiences which in tow creates a sense of belonging within the room. We have recently had a few new faces come to join our Baby Room whanau and have been supporting these tamariki and their families sas they settle into our enviroment.

We have also been busy  learning about helping and showing maanakitanga towards eachother. From this we have seen tremendous  leaps and bounds in our older tamariki in the room as they fill the boots of those who have transtitioned onwards to the next room. There has been lots of heliping hands to feed bottles of the youngest members of our Baby Room whanau aswell as kind and loving arms when looking out for a friend.
