Belfast Science Experiments
Our Tamariki loved being involved in experiments for science day as part of our recent school holiday programme. Nga Tamariki had fun with one of our teachers exploring why rain falls from the sky. Using shaving foam and dye in a glass of water, Ash was able to explain to Nga Tamariki that the dye represented the rain drops and as more "rain" formed on top of the cloud (Shaving foam) it got too heavy for the cloud to hold and would fall to the the ground (bottom of the glass jar). Nga Tamariki spent a long period of time in this experience discussing how much dye was needed to get "rain falling".
