When you visit us in BestStart Waihi East, you will find old recycled gumboots all over the place. Our tamariki have brought some from home and have recycled them as planters. After having planted lots of seedlings this spring, we are now into planting into gumboots and tyres! Our kaiako teach what good soil is and how to look after our plants. It is a wonderful skill for life!
