Like most children our children love interacting and playing with bubbles.  Our younger children love to either watch them float by or as they become more mobile attempt to catch them.  Our older children love to be able to create them for themselves.  Here is a bubble mixture that I made today, all ingredients you should be able to find in your pantry.

Giant bubble mix.

12 cups water

1 cup dishwashing liquid

1 cup cornflour

2 teaspoons baking powder

Measure all ingredients into a large bucket or bowl and mix gently.

Leave to settle for about an hour.

I found I needed to mix it a couple of times to get the cornflour to settle.

Use big round wands – the bigger the better or make using old wire coat hangers.

I used recycled things from home.  A milk bottle and lemonade bottle cut to size and a cookie cutter.

Enjoy your bubble making.
