Through the month of September our tamariki here at Greerton enjoyed using their imagination in creating many objects. Different items that the children found were used for these wonderful structures.

Working together alongside others brought about many a discussion of what they were wanting to create -how tall, what shape, what colour. Sharing their thoughts and getting the end result was always a delight. Even when some built their own designs you could see them thinking where to place the next piece, checking to see if it was looking how they imagined it would turn out.

The joy on our younger children when they achieved placing their items correctly and using colours was amongst special moments too.

Everyone was able to enjoy these days no matter what the spring weather brought– working outside on our new covered deck was a lovely change to always being inside if it was a wet day.
