Campfire TopKids Style
Some of our children had recently been camping in Australia and we had talked about campfires so we decided to use the wood on our doorstep and create a campfire to roast marshmallows over. We started off by building up our campfire with shredded paper and wood to get it started, once it was started we had green, orange and pink flames roaring away and keeping us toasty warm. We found some cotton wool and made marshmallows on our sticks but they didn’t taste very nice so we found some mini marshmallows and roasted those. While we waited for our marshmallows to roast we sang some songs to the tune of a ukulele. They were tasty marshmallows!
