Caterpillars and butterflies
The children did research on the internet about the life cycle of the butterfly followed by discussions and video viewing at Mat time. From here children went about creating their own stories or recreated the story through painting, magnetic stories, singing, threading and drawing. The teachers supported and extended children’s learning by incorporating literacy and numeracy concepts throughout these fun learning experience.
