Celebrating 15 years with BestStart
This came as a surprise to Kalala and she was moved to tears. Kalala has been with our centre since 2004 and has taught across all age groups. She is so loved by all our children, whanau, community and our teaching team. Kalala teaches with such love, energy and care, and encourages all children to be their best. She is a real asset to our centre and community. We celebrated Kalala with a haka from our boys in Te Whare Whiti & Hana, and a waiata [kalala’s favourite] “You are my sunshine !!” and as per our centre tikanga ends with a water fight between the staff.
