Celebrating Anzac Day at BestStart Weymouth
To celebrate Anzac Day at BestStart Weymouth, we made red poppies for the children to wear and talked about how we are each putting on this special flower to show a pride for our country. Then we even talked to the children about caring for each other, looking after one another and even added turn taking with their toys. Approaching this topic with younger children and toddlers can prove challenging, therefore we decided to keep this celebration simple and age appropriate where we could have fun while showing pride for our country.
