Celebrating Cook Islands Language Week at BestStart Dannemora

Last week at BestStart Dannemora we had a busy week filled with activities and all sorts of fun and dancing. We celebrated Cook Islands Language Week and on Friday all our children and teachers dressed up in some beautiful cultural clothes. We also had a wonderful set up at the front of the centre and made a beautiful quilt with our preschool children using egg shells! This was a fun and exciting week as children all got to learn more about the Cook Island culture including their traditions, food and culture and of course the dancing. We love celebrating all sorts of different cultures here at BestStart Dannemora!
