Last week at BestStart Hei Hei we all celebrated Diwali. Diwali is an Indian festival. It is a Festival of Lights and happiness. In our centre we celebrate this festival by doing different activities.

On Wednesday we have done some art activities to decorate the room, on Thursday we done Henna tattoos on children’s and teachers hand. Henna is a symbol of good luck and the ingredients we have used were all natural to support Indian culture.

On Friday we all dressed up in colourful attires. Tavleen wore her Indian clothes to represent her culture and share the knowledge with our tamariki and teachers.

We wish you all a very happy Diwali 2021 from the BestStart Hei Hei family.
