We have such a diverse community here at BestStart Buchanans Road and many of our families celebrate the Holi Festival. Holi is a popular, ancient Hindu festival, also know as the "Festival of Colours" and the "Festival of Spring". It also signifies the triumph of good over evil. It originated and is predominantly celebrated in India, but has also spread to other regions of Asia and parts of the western world.

To celebrate Holi here at BestStart Buchanans Road, we dressed up in our most colourful clothes, and had plenty of colour throughout our centre. From coloured pasta for kai (BestStart colours of course!) to coloured scarves in the Nursery, to creating colourful artwork in the preschool to getting messy with coloured foam outside, we had a day of fun, laughter and joy as we acknowledged and celebrated with our families who observe this festival.
