Celebrating Matariki at BestStart Burnside
Matariki is a time to celebrate and here at BestStart Burnside we see no better way to do that then with hot soup, families spending time together and toasting marshmallows. We shared such a special evening with our centre families and what a special treat to have a fire in the sand pit. One of our teachers used his scout leader experiences and had a perfect fire ready and waiting for us. For some of our children this was their first time doing this. We really loved being able to celebrate Matariki in true BestStart Burnside fashion. Family togetherness, laughter and food.
