Celebrating Samoan Language Week at BestStart Stokes Valley

Tālofa, here at BestStart Stokes Valley we love exploring all cultures. Here are some photos from our Samoan Language Week celebrations. The tamariki in the Kea room made a colourful tapa, some delicious panikeke and explored dance, music and cultural dress.  We also learnt some new Samoan songs at mat time. We know what we have learnt this week will stay with us and supports us to grow our cultural knowledge and identity as a learning community.
