Celebrating the Heart Foundation's Big Heart Appeal

Today we celebrated the Heart Foundation's 'Big Heart Appeal' with a day full of activities.  Abi from the Heart Foundation came in and held a special mat time with the children, she taught them all about how the heart works and how we can keep it healthy. 

We were also lucky enough to have a local midwife and doctor come in with stethoscopes and a doppler to allow the children to hear their heartbeat, it was amazing to watch the joy on the children's faces when they heard their heart beat out loud.

It was also a day full of red, red outfits, red paintings, red water and to top it all off we had a very colourful healthy lunch. Thank you to all our families who brought in their gold coin donation to go towards this great day, a little bit goes a long way.
