Celebrating Valentines Day with Big Heart Day
On Valentines we decided to hold a Big Heart Day to show our support to the Heart Foundation. We asked everyone to come along dressed in either red or pink and join us for a morning of fun activities. Everyone bought in a gold coin to donate.
We created an awesome obstacle course for tamariki to conquer. First they had to climb the stairs, go through the tunnel, down the the bridge, jump through the tyres, bear crawl under the table, go around the cones, under and through the box, up and over the planks and big tyre and then finishing by going through the big hoop and down the slide.
As well as the obstacle course we had bubble painting, a disco and fruit kebab making.
It was great to see our tamariki and kaiako engaging in activities that promote hauora and general well being!
