Chinese New Year at Montessori Taradale
Both casas at BestStart Montessori Taradale have been celebrating Chinese New Year with the children. Casa di Amici has been decorated in red and gold, and the children have been talking about the "party" because of the balloons and streamers. They have been creating traditional Chinese tangrams and giving out lucky pockets (containing "money" - chocolate of course!) to their whanau. The 3 to 6 year old's casa have also been enjoying creating traditional art works and have been listening to and reenacting traditional Chinese legends at mat time.
