Chinese New Year Celebrations 2019

This year we celebrated Chinese New Year in a special way by inviting a Chinese Dancing group named Jinyan who performed Mongolian dance and other popular Chinese dance forms for our children and whanau. Our tamariki were really excited to participate with the dance group and learn some important instructions of how to move their body to different music. It was also great to watch our whanau involved with children to acknowledge and understand that one of the ways to celebrate Chinese New Year is through music and dance and experience the rich culture.
