Christmas Celebrations at BestStart Opihi
The nursery tamariki ma at Beststart Opihi have enjoyed getting involved in lots of Christmas experiences during November and December. Together we have had fun getting involved in helping to decorate the environment, creating Christmas crafts, exploring the Christmas dress ups, having our faces painted, taking funny photos and doing lots of dancing and singing. We also joined in with the preschool to provide the tamariki ma with a centre fun Christmas celebration week, where we participated in lots of fun activities throughout the week. During these experiences nga tamariki had lots of opportunities to further develop their communication skills and physical development, increase their independence, try out new experiences, explore their own ideas and challenge their abilities as they got creative, laughed and played with and alongside others.
What a great time we all had celebrating a wonderful year and enjoying exciting Christmas experiences together!
