BestStart Parklands has been busy with lots of wonderful fun experiences undertaken to celebrate the festive season. Nga tamariki have been involved in making reindeer headbands, Rudolph the red nose reindeer masks with a special nose made up of a lollipop. Also, we made Christmas trees and decorated them using ice cream cones, chocolate ice cream and lollies for the decorations. A highlight was the yummy Christmas cake with custard Sarah our 2IC made for afternoon tea which was so delicious that many tamariki asked for second helpings. We are looking forward to making more decorations for our Christmas trees at home in the coming weeks leading up to Christmas day.
