We had two of our local Police Officers come and talk to our tamariki about being Road Safe. This was a fantastic opportunity for our tamariki to ask questions and learn more about why we need to be road safe. Before Constable Victoria and Constable Tayla left they let us have a turn exploring some of the tools they use including their handcuffs. Finally, they put on the siren so we could hear the noise the police car makes. We really appreciate being able to learn from others within our wider community here at BestStart Kaiwharawhara.
