The Preschool tamariki (children) have enjoyed participating in a range of different experiences to commemorate ANZAC Day.

Through experiences provided we have been able to support our tamariki to gain understanding of history through recognising symbols and traditions. Tamariki enjoyed exploring CD books around remembrance and then recreated the story using loose parts. We challenged ourselves to construct poppies out of shopping bags to share with our whānau.

We also explored messy play as tamariki painted poppies using their fingers.
