Here at BestStart Petone we value the connections we have with our centre whanau and wider community. This month we were lucky enough to have one of our centre Dad's bring his fire crew and fire truck to the centre for our toddlers to explore. It is safe to say this was quite a hit! The children enjoyed exploring the fire truck and having a turn sitting inside while learning about some of the equipment that is used. This supported our children's interest in transportation and provided a real life hands on experience for the children to enjoy.
