Our initial flag was created from the handprints of all our tamariki and kaiako until it expanded into an amazing sensory and messy artwork on the table top.  This, in turn, enabled us to explore patterns on our flag such as the koru.

To us, these pieces of artwork symbolise our Nursery whānau working together, from the smallest hand of our youngest tamariki to the larger hands of our kaiako.  We are a large diverse whānau with our own ideas, values and principles, however, we have come together for a shared purpose; to foster our tamariki as they grow into amazing learners full of passion, bright ideas and consideration for others!
