Creative, fun, and inspirational
As the children settle back into routines and have some much-needed time to catch up with friends, they become creative with the many resources we have at the centre. Some children have been away longer than others, but the growth and change we see in all the children are there. It has been a wonderful time to see the children settle back into routine, and to get to know the changes in their interests and habits. This month we really see their growth through the creative and imaginative buildings and exploration they have shown us. We have had puppet shows, cardboard spaceships, bear hunts and the like. The social, mental and language development has been so amazing and so interesting to refamiliarize ourselves with.
In each of these creative interactions, we not only see the child's growth and change, but we also see how they are making sense of the world and how they fit into this. We discover how spaceships are made, learn to look at each situation in different angles, along with sharing, taking turns and problem solving. The development and conversations have been amazing to say the least!
