This afternoon turned out a bit warmer than planned so I filled the water trough for the tamariki and encouraged them to come and join in the experience. I added some dish liquid to create some bubbles to further extend the sensory experience. The tamariki seemed delighted by the addition of bubbles to the water. 

There was lots of scooping, pouring and tipping happening as well as amazement by the the funnels and how the water kept flowing out the bottom when I demonstrated this to the tamariki. The tamariki seemed to love this experience and were all quite wet by the end.
