Exploring in the sand pit
Over the last couple of weeks our tamariki have really enjoyed exploring in the sand pit. This a great way for tamariki to build several different skills, both physical and social. Sand play is a sensory experience that helps tamariki learn about textures, develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination through touch and taste!
