The children were very excited for their adventure and promptly put on their BestStart vests, hats and their shoes. When we arrived safely at the park, our older tamariki assisted the younger tamariki as they walked to the playground. It was beautiful to see them holding their hands as they walked alongside them. They had so much fun exploring this new environment, sliding down the slides, having turns on the swings, balancing across bridges, spinning around, and climbing. After a fun filled time on the playground our tamariki gathered round for a delicious picnic, before making our way back to BestStart Borman Road.
