In our Woodlands area we bring our Wild Things vision alive by providing experiences for our tamariki to explore using all of their senses. Recently we provided them a fun-filled messy play experience which we like to call a cornflour bomb!

The children love the feel of the cornflour and are developing their of sense of wonder, exploration and discovery through exploring different substances. A fun part of this activity is encouraging clapping and dancing to see what happens as we make dust clouds to explore too. As you can see from the photos the children thoroughly enjoy this experience and learning through using their bodies to senses to explore.
