Fun for Plunket
This year our whanau really got behind Plunket week we had a big week with a balloon pop where lots of our local businesses supplied prizes for the parents to buy a balloon pop it and find the prize inside.
This was very exciting, and the children still look at the board waiting for more prize balloons.
We had a teddy bears picnic where the children invited a special person or people to come along for afternoon tea and we had a surprise visit from the Plunket big blue bear!
There were a lot of blue arts and crafts this week and a special blue dress up day where we all bought a gold coin to decorate a painted blue bear. We were very proud that we more than doubled last year's efforts and raised a total of $260 for Plunket.
