Our pepe in the kakano room have been making the most of this beautiful weather, one of their favourite outdoor activities is building sand castles. Sand is a useful material for children to manipulate, they can explore it by feeling, patting, pounding, shaping, moulding and digging. Here Tyson, Elleene, Mea and Eli are all working together to build their sand castles before the fun part... busting them down! As they dig, fill and tip out the buckets they are exploring the space around them and the relationship between people and objects nearby.
