Fun with bridges!
A wonderful reliever at our centre set up an amazing set of bridges across our sandpit. One was bumpy and straight and two others were close together. We all took turns going across and some of us tried with one foot on each plank as we got more daring! We learnt gross motor skills, co-ordination, balance and turn taking. We used them as a bridge for our trucks as well, seeing if we could get across at the same time, or next to them. We moved the bridges and dug new holes underneath and we had a great learning experience for several days from this one fabulous idea!
