Getting used to school

Last term some children and staff at Spreydon School and Addington School. While the children were there they were able to see what a school environment was like and get to know a little bit about a school routine. While the children were at West Spreydon and Addington School, they interacted in mat time, poetry time and got to the play on the playground.

These trips will be an on-going thing for the rest of the year. The aim for these trips is to allow for the children to get use to a school environment even if it is not the school they will be attending.

We have been lucky enough to secure dates for West Spreydon and Addington School in term 3. So this term the children that are aged 4.5 years to 5 years old will be able to attend either of these school visits accompanied by some staff at BestStart Barrington.
