Grandparents Morning Tea at BestStart Howick

What a lovely Grandparents morning tea we had for Matariki beginning of July. At BestStart Howick we happily welcomed all grandparents and great grandparents. Children proudly showed off their centre and had a great time making cards using colourful collage and decorating wooden spinning tops with their grandparents. A sumptuous morning tea was followed with children’s performance of singing various waiata along with some dance and movement. Thank you so much to all the grandparents and great grandparents who came to make this day so special for all of us. This bonding time is so important and gives children those important values of showing love, respect. being together and welcoming. These are lifetime skills and values that we install into our little ones. What joyful moments! Thank you once again whanau for coming and being our light!
