Here at BestStart Greerton we all had a wonderful couple of weeks during the recent July School Holidays with activities, that changed day to day. All were able to enjoy these moments, sharing with friends, Staff Members or working independently.

Some of these wonderful moments were “Funky Hair Day”, “Science Day”, “Natural Art & Craft Day”, “Pizza & Soup making Day” and “Wheels Day”.

Funky Hair Day saw some of our Tamariki arrive with wonderful whacky styles, whilst others were able to have their hair style created from our Staff.

Science Day was a chance for the children to try different experiments, thinking creatively using their minds along with a good opportunity for hand eye co-ordination.

Natural Art & Craft Day allowed everyone to work with our outdoor environment tools of leaves, branches, stones.

Pizza and Soup Making Day was a popular day with many children keen to assist the staff in preparing both food options along with enjoying the flavours later during Kai time.

Wheels Day was a favourite with many bringing their “wheels” from home, this included bikes and skateboards.  Some wonderful skills were shared by them alongside our Staff members and we were lucky to have a fine day for this activity.
