Growing and learning
Taking care of our gardens is part of our day-to-day life at BestStart Lemon. We are lucky to have beautiful fruit trees and big vegetable gardens at our centre.
We planted some seeds to grow our own plants for our gardens. We placed seed raising mix into our seed pods and placed in the seeds and then covered them with a bit more soil. We put them in our shed so we could keep them warm everyday we will water our seeds to help them grow.
To make room for our new plants we did a lot of work digging and weeding. Some of our vegetables had grown really big so we tidied them up and put the weeds and overgrown veges in the composting bin. We also picked some vegetables for Sapphire to use in our lunch.
