Investigating About Roots
The children at BestStart Botany Junction have been busy learning about roots. The lettuce that had been planted during Matariki caught the children's attention. At first, they thought that the container in which it was planted had cracked. On further investigation children discovered the roots and the journey to research, discovery and investigation about roots started.
Children are now learning about the importance of roots, how they help plants and their functions.
