Ho Ho Ha Ha Ha.  Today to complete our Hauora (healthy body and mind) planning we all participated in some laughter yoga.  Simon from the Invercargill Laughter Yoga group came to lead our session.  To begin he told us about the history and theories behind laughter yoga.  Children laugh at least 300 times a day but sadly for adults it is much less than this.  Luckly however our minds and bodies cannot tell the difference between real or fake laughter.  So even if you are fake laughing your body receives the same endorphins from real laughter and makes you feel good.  All you have to do is loose your inhibitions.  In the photos and videos attached you will see us participating in:

Penguin laughter

Witch laughter

Sheep laughter Baa ha ha

World domination (my personal favourite)

Eating an apple

Smelling flowers

Lawn Mower laughter

Evolution- Gorilla's- Chimpanzee

To end the session, we laughed lying down and then some relaxation of just breathing and tensing and then relaxing our bodies.  So, lose your inhibitions and give it a go it really is so much fun and makes you feel good.
