Our tamariki here at BestStart Papakura East have been very interested in construction, building with wooden blocks and also utilizing our new selection of loose parts.  

Imagination, designing, problem solving skills have been in full use with these learning experiences.  When we were given our milk crates we just put them out and let our tamariki decide, we have had so many different variations of buildings it has been fantastic to watch.

The teachers have been most impressed with the amazing relationship building that has been occurring while these projects take place.
