Glenn from the library visited us today and held his fun time mat time session. We sang songs, danced with recycled ribbons, played with the parachute, listened to a story entitled “The Rain Fish” and created masks from recycled materials.

Glenn showed us different ways where we can use recycled materials through arts and even with dancing, singing and playing. This also supported us with our different kaitiakitanga initiatives around the centre. It was indeed a fun time for everyone with our community resource supporting us and showing us ways on how we can help re-use common items in different play and fun activities.
