Literacy and numeracy learning through play
At our centre the kaiako incorporate intentional learning opportunities such as literacy and numeracy into our play based curriculum in a manner that encourages the tamariki to learn in an interactive and fun environment. This strategy enables them/our tamariki to develop a love of learning which in turn gives them the confidence to believe in themselves as learners as they prepare themselves for their school journey.
