Looking after our friend's guinea pig
One of our families have gone on a holiday for a month and asked if we would take care of there precious little Guinea Pig called dude. We have him in the Baby room with our bunny Ryder! The children have loved having him around, Dude loves to be picked up and cuddled he even likes to have a bath. The older children have came in to help care for him and role modelling to the younger children how to be gentle and care for him. We value Tuakana-Teina relationships and teaching our children about caring for animals. To see how some children who haven't been around animals become more and more confident every day, is beautiful to watch and be apart of.
