It was very sad to hear about the bomb attack in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday and our prayers and thoughts are with you Sri Lankans. At BestStart Tory Street we showed respect to our Sri Lankan community by wearing Sri Lankan flag colours.

At mat time we talked about respecting different cultures and countries and how to take care of each other. Our tamariki did some hand prints to make a frame for the Sri Lankan flag.
