Maitarangi Mt Victoria
Every week our tamariki participate in our outdoor education programme around Matairangi. The older tamariki are involved in taking a long walk up to Matairangi and they get to view the amazing scenery of Evans Bay. The children and teachers walk along the tricky track of Matairangi. There is a mountain biking track that the tamariki and kaiako walk along and challenge their balance and gross motor skills. Our tamariki and kaiako explore the environment and discuss ways to keep our environment safe. Tamariki share ways of keeping the meadow clean. Tamariki spend the afternoon playing in the meadow and share their experiences with our younger tamariki at Montessori.
