Making Aidanfield more green!
Today we had the chance to plant our 1,000 tree trees. There is a lemon tree, blueberry bush and a raspberry bush. The tamariki helped me did the garden over and then they dug some holes, making sure the holes were big enough for the plants to go in. We gently pulled the plants out of their containers and put them in the ground, making sure we put the soil around the plants. Once we had finished planting them we gave them a big drink of water. We will watch them grow over the next few months and look forward to eating some of the tasty berries in the summer.
