On Friday the 9th of July, we hosted our annual Matariki Evening. In preparation for our evening our families brought in some vegetables for our children to make a warm soup. Our tamariki had been practicing a few songs over the month of June to share to our whānau and when it was time to share their talent, they really impressed the crowd. It was great to see everyone joining in with weaving, starry night playdough, and craft experiences after enjoying a delicious, shared kai.
